Good food starts with
a little curiosity
I started this site because I kept hitting the same wall — recipes that assumed too much, or just tasted like nothing. So I figured I'd share what actually works in my kitchen.
What's This Place?
CookingDish.net is where I write about food the way I actually cook it — no fancy equipment, no hard-to-find ingredients. Just straightforward dishes that come out right.
Why I Made This
Honestly? I got tired of cooking blogs that buried the recipe under a life story. Here you get the food first. The story only shows up if it's actually useful.
What's Here
- Recipes that have been cooked, not just written
- Tips I picked up from making mistakes
- What to do when you're missing an ingredient
- Tools worth buying — and ones that aren't
- Simple meal ideas for the week
Say Hello
Got a dish you want me to cover, or something on the site that didn't work out? Drop me a message — I read everything.
cookingdish.net/contactFood that actually tastes like something
CookingDish.net started because I kept finding recipes that were either too complicated or too bland. I cook these dishes myself — usually on weeknights, with whatever's in the fridge. If something doesn't work, I don't post it. Simple as that.
No restaurant background, no culinary school. Just someone who genuinely loves feeding people and figuring out why things taste the way they do.
Got a question? Say hi.
If a recipe didn't come out right or you've got a dish you'd like me to try — I'm easy to reach. I read every message myself.
